When a software company ran into a major technical problem while delivering a virtual training session, Attune was there to save their class from impending catastrophe by converting all of their remote students to Virtual Training Room. Challenge and Solution

A software developer that provides award-winning training was facing shrinking class sizes for its live instructor-led training. Looking for a more flexible solution, they turned to a popular, off-the-shelf videoconferencing tool to deliver their live training workshops virtually. Initially, this platform did help to expand the reach and participation of their workshops; but the virtual classes lacked the engagement and learning experience of the live classroom sessions. Students missed out on much of the non-verbal communication that is central to a successful classroom environment.

While delivering a hybrid learning event at an Attune facility, the client encountered a major technical issue with its off-the-shelf virtual delivery platform. Within a very short period of time, Attune was able to get the class back up and running by switching all of it’s remote students to Virtual Training Room—Attune’s hybrid learning delivery system that combines the learning benefits of live-instructor-led training with the power and flexibility of a virtual platform.

Using Attune’s expansive room rental network, the company has scheduled hundreds of training events in 25 locations throughout the United States. Attune’s technical support team imaged all necessary software onto the remote learners PCs and the live classrooms prior to training. For the training events held at remote locations, Attune served up Virtual Training Lab. This cloud-based solution provided this client the flexibility they needed to train both onsite and offsite learners without the need for significant technical setup or involvement. The virtual environment allows instructors to teach courses at customer locations without the need to install software prior to class or worry about the specifications of the on-site computers. Instructors are able to show up and teach, while learners are able to access the lab with a secure URL.
